The Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) is committed to supporting the next generation of Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) doctors. The ACSEP Conference Scholarships provide valuable opportunities for medical students and junior doctors with an interest in SEM to attend the College’s flagship Annual Scientific Conference.

These scholarships are designed to foster awareness of the specialty and to help recipients experience the full breadth of the conference program – including attendance to the ACSEP Registrar Conference, presentations from world-leading experts, practical workshops, social events, and invaluable networking with ACSEP Fellows, Registrars and Members.

In 2025, four scholarships are available, including opportunities dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Māori and Pasifika medical students and junior doctors, as well as a scholarship for regional and rural candidates in honour of Dr Geoff Thompson AM.

Each scholarship covers Registrar and Scientific conference registration, social functions, travel and accommodation, ensuring recipients can fully participate in the conference experience.
