The Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) is proud to offer Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander medical students and junior doctors the opportunity to attend the ACSEP Annual Conference. This opportunity has been designed to enhance the recipient’s career and their interest in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
The Award aims to provide those considering a career in Sport and Exercise Medicine with the opportunity to participate in the full program that the Annual Conference offers, alongside world leaders in Sport and Exercise Medicine. The recipients will have the opportunity to network with members of the College and to gain a better understanding of the specialisation of Sport and Exercise Medicine.
The Award is valued at $2,500 and includes:
- Registration to the 2025 Registrar Conference and/or 2025 ACSEP Annual Scientific Conference
- Catering during conference breaks
- Admittance to the Welcome Function
- A ticket to attend the ACSEP Gala Dinner
- Participation in the activities’ day
- Travel and Accommodation*
*Please note: Any expenses beyond the $2500 scholarship limit will need to be covered by the recipient.
Following attendance at the conference, the recipient will be required to provide a short post conference report to ACSEP within 4 weeks of the final day of the conference. The report may be used in promotional material by ACSEP.
Applicants are required to complete and email the application form to conference@acsep.org.au The Award recipient will be selected by the ACSEP National Office and the decision will be final.
Applicants will be advised via email of the outcome of selection. ACSEP reserves the right to only offer this Award if a suitable recipient applies.
